Brisbane River is fast-flowing but the peak hasn't caused too many issues here.

South Brisbane Storms administrator Kylie put this composite flood photo together for our other admin, Justin. I felt this was certainly worthy of a share as this shows the full effect of the flooding along the Albert River near Cedar Creek earlier this week. Justin was very fortunate not to lose more belongings as the water levels threatened the house (on stilts!!) and inundated their shed. Hopefully we don't see a repeat of flooding of this magnitude for a very long while. The river level as since subsided significantly but there are still a lot of flooded areas to the south of Brisbane currently, so be careful and stay away from flooded creeks and streams.
