The NSW Department of Family and Community Services have been contacted, after a woman was caught driving at six times the legal limit with 3 young children in the car at Westleigh, in Sydney's north west.
The 39 year old mum was charged after police responded to reports a silver Nissan Pathfinder was being driven erratically, and mounted a kerb on Berenbel Place around 6pm Saturday.
Highway Patrol Officers said a member of the public then removed the keys from the car, while the woman allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.327.
Her partner was called to pick up their three children aged 1, 3 and 11 who were in the vehicle at the time. Her drivers licence was also suspended on the spot.
