UPDATE:
A 19 year old male ADF officer cadet has faced court in the ACT on rape charges.
Harlan Agresti was arrested on Tuesday, in relation to two separate alleged incidents that were brought the attention of authorities earlier this week by two females.
"The alleged offences are reported to have occurred in June 2013 and February 2014," an ADF Statement read. "Defence is assisting the ACT Policing .. and is providing all appropriate support to the individuals concerned."
Police allege one assault occurred after a night out in Canberra in June 2013. The other occurred at the residence of one of the victims in February this year.
Mr Agresti has been granted bail on two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
His lawyer says he will plead not guilty.
