UPDATED: 24 of amusement park goers got more than they bargained for when their ride stopped mid-air. They've been left stranded nearly 23 meters in the air, after the Joker's Jinx roller-coaster malfunctioned at the Six Flags park in Maryland.
Luckily no one has been hurt, while it's believed water, food and umbrella's to shield from the sun, were being offered to victims as authorities got each and every passenger to safety, one by one.
"Operation going as smooth as can be expected," said Fire Chief Marc Bashoor.
Six Flags' website says the ride goes 96.5 km/h and turns upside down four times.
