Australian tennis sensation Nick Kyrgios has fired back to rapper Drake's cranky comments about his Wimbledon quarter final performance. The 19 year old rising star of the court explained earlier this month why he dropped a set to Czech tennis player Jiri Vesely, before going on to beat him in four sets.
Kyrgios told reporters he "came out feeling flat" due to his music choice prior to the match.
[Drake] didn't do the job for me.
Two weeks later, in an interview discussing his upcoming hosting duties of the ESPY Awards, Drake responded.
I also want to meet this guy that says that he lost because he listened to my music. I also want to meet that guy and look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down. Nick whatever-his-name-is 'cause he didn't win, so that's how he's going to be remembered.
Earlier today, Kyrgios tried to clear the air by taking to Twitter to clarify his comments.
Despite being tagged in the tweet, the Canadian rapper and former actor is yet to respond.
